The Finnish Anti-Fascist Committee commends the City of Tampere, the Tampere Workers' Association, and the Lenin Museum for their decision to refuse the incitement of an international hate group in their premises.
A democratic society has the right to defend itself. Our organisation is of the firm opinion that hate speech preaching totalitarianism, racial supremacy, and homophobia has no place in Finnish society.
The Finnish Anti-Fascist Committee wishes to take part in defending and building a society where democracy, human rights, and freedom of speech can be realised, and which, if need be, can rise in defence against threats.
